Holiday Memories (e buona Befana)

L'epifania che tutte le feste porta via... In realtà qui le vacanze sono finite ormai da lunedì. Niente Befana qui negli States, ma la simpatica vecchietta passerà a casa wwm e dopo aver lasciato qualche  dolcetto e un regalino a testa, anzi due, si porterà via finalmente tutte le decorazioni natalizie e il nostro bellissimo albero di Natale. E prima di mettere tutto in una scatola e ricominciare con nuove decorazioni (e tutorials) vi posto un paio di foto del cenone della Vigilia di Natale e della tavola decorata.

Dopodichè basta.

In Italy we celebrate the arrival of the Three Kings. It is the feast of the Epiphany and we have the the tradition of Befana that is a big part of the Christmas celebrations. Epiphany commemorates the 12th day of Christmas when the three Wise Men arrived at the manger bearing gifts for Baby Jesus. The traditional Christmas holiday season in Italy lasts through Epiphany and that's why school in Italy begins next monday (lot of holiday there!). The Befana is a witch known who arrives on her broomstick during the night of January 5 and fills the stockings with toys and sweets for the good children and lumps of coal for the bad ones. So actually we put all the xmas decorations away after the arrival of the Befana. That's why I'll post you now all the pictures of the xmas table decor, that I couldn't post before (no time, lazy). And that's it, no more xmas and ready for new crafts and projects.

Tavolata per 28 persone: 4 tavoli 28 sedie, piatti bicchieri e posate tutte in plastica! Abbiamo ballato, i bambini hanno ricevuto la visita di Babbo Natale ed erano felicissimi e tutti sono andati a casa (spero) contenti.
Come tovaglia ho utulizzato del pizzo rosso che ho legato ai lati con dei fiocchi oro. Come centro tavoli alberelli e candele per creare l'atmosfera...
